Auto-line filters are engineered with the utmost adherence to safety and quality standards, meeting the rigorous requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. This ensures that they are suitable for use under the specific conditions for which they are designed, particularly in applications involving pressurized systems. Depending on system design and capacity needs we have several options to meet specific demands. Depending on filter volume, design pressure and fluid group for the media, the PED category type is set, and the compliance Module is selected based on this. It is possible to select a higher compliance module than demanded by the process.

We always adhere to the standard EN 13445 for pressure vessels to ensure safe design and compliance.

Available Options for Compliance:

– Standard Compliance: All HiFlux filters are available as vessels with compliance to PED 2014/68/EU, Article 4, section 3 using sound engineering practice.

– Category I Module A: For equipment falling into Category I according to PED 2014/68/EU we offer designs that comply with Module A according to PED 2014/68/EU. This includes Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in the production process. This option is suitable for equipment under lower pressure and volume thresholds.

– Category II, III & IV Module G: For equipment falling into Category II, III and IV according to PED 2014/68/EU we offer designs that comply with Module G according to PED 2014/68/EU. This also includes Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in the production process and certification by Notified Body. This higher level of compliance is indicative of our capability to design and manufacture filters that meet the stringent safety requirements for more critical applications.

Each compliance level is designed to ensure that our Auto-line filters meet or exceed the essential safety requirements outlined in the PED, offering flexibility to our clients to select the appropriate level of compliance based on their specific operational needs and regulatory obligations.
