All elastomers and polymers used in these systems are fully compliant with Regulation EC 1935/2004 in addition with relevant legislation. This includes 2023/2006 EU for production handling and 10/2011 EU for plastics. HiFlux Filtration A/S is registered at the Danish Food Administration (as well as all our Danish suppliers), who conducts inspections at all companies manufacturing food contact materials in Denmark. These regulations ensures that materials meeting food are safe and do not transfer substances to food in quantities that could endanger human health, change food composition in an unacceptable way, or deteriorate the taste and odor of foodstuffs.

In addition to meeting EC 1935/2004 requirements, our products also often comply with FDA material certification requirements and can be met upon request.

Furthermore, our design practices respect the recommendations of the European Hygienic Equipment Design Group (EHEDG).
