The scraper is open, so the liquid can pass during the cleaning cycle. Positively pushes dirt particles into the sludge chamber, also particles with same density as the liquid itself.
Cleans the filter surface area app. 3-4 times per minute.
Standard scraper material:
- PEEK – Hard, wear resistant and has declaration of conformity FKM for hygienic filters.
- Carbon stabilised PTFE – Wear resistant, high temperature.
- PA12 – Slightly more elastic then PEEK. Not useful for high temperatures.
