This open scraper design not only facilitates continuous operation but also effectively dislodges and transports dirt particles into the sludge chamber. Its efficiency is noteworthy in handling particles that share the same density as the liquid, ensuring a thorough cleaning of the filter surface approximately 3-4 times per minute.

Standard Scraper Materials:

– PEEK: Known for its hardness and wear resistance, PEEK is ideal for hygienic filters, as it complies with the food contact materials directive Regulation EC 1935/2004. It’s suitable for applications requiring a single scraper system.

– Carbon Stabilised PTFE: This material is chosen for its wear resistance and high-temperature capabilities, making it exclusive to industrial use where durability under harsh conditions is a priority.

– PA12: Offering slightly more elasticity than PEEK, PA12 is not recommended for high-temperature applications but provides an alternative for scenarios where flexibility is beneficial.
